How to Create an Action Flow
You can view and manage all of you Action Flows by clicking the Action Flow menu item in the left sidebar of your Sonikit dashboard. To create a new Action Flow, click the New Flow button in the top right corner.
Step 1: Choose a Trigger
Start by selecting the event that will trigger your flow.
Examples:
Fan texts a keyword
Fan pre-saves a release
Fan signs up via SMS
Step 2: Configure the Trigger
Depending on the trigger, you may need to define:
Keyword (for SMS triggers)
Enter any word that's not already used by another automation trigger. Keywords are case insensitive so fans don't need to match case exactly (ex. "PRESAVE" and "presave" will both run the trigger.
Artist or Release (for streaming triggers)
For pre-saves, you can select an existing pre-save from your Sonikit account or create a new one.
For artist follows and album library adds, enter a URL from a streaming service and Sonikit will match it to all available platforms.
Channel (SMS, Instagram, etc.)
Step 3: Add Steps
Steps are executed in order after the trigger.
Available actions:
Add a release to library (album, track, playlist)
Follow artist
Pre-save release
Save future releases (NextSave)
Add to segment
Send a text
Send an email
Send an Instagram message (Pro/Enterprise only)
Step 4: Activate the Flow
Once saved, your Action Flow is:
Immediately active
Always listening for matching events
No publishing or scheduling required.
