Connect an Instagram Account to Sonikit

Instagram Messaging allows you to connect your Instagram profile to a Sonikit project so you can automate fan engagement through Action Flows, respond to conversations, and build interactive experiences for your audience.

Before You Begin

Before connecting Instagram, make sure:

  • Your Instagram profile is configured as a Business account.

  • Your Instagram profile is connected to a Facebook Business Page.

  • You have administrative access to the Facebook Page and Instagram profile you want to connect.

Connect Your Instagram Profile

  1. Sign in to your Sonikit dashboard.

  2. Open your project.

  3. Click Messaging in the left sidebar.

  4. Locate the Messaging Channels section.

  5. Click Enable Instagram.

  6. Review the integration details and click Connect Instagram.

Sonikit will launch Facebook Login for Business, where you'll be asked to:

  • Sign in to your Meta account.

  • Select the Facebook Page you want to connect.

  • Select the Instagram profile you want to connect.

  • Review and approve the requested permissions.

Selecting Multiple Pages or Profiles

Meta allows you to select multiple Pages and Instagram profiles during authentication.

However, Sonikit currently supports one Instagram profile per project.

If you select multiple Pages or profiles during authentication, you'll be asked to choose a single Instagram profile after completing the login process.

Confirming the Connection

After successfully connecting your account, you'll be returned to Sonikit.

Your Instagram profile will appear in the Messaging Channels section on the Messaging page.

Once connected, you'll be able to:

  • Create Instagram Action Flows

  • Send automated Instagram DMs

  • Trigger automations from comments, story replies, and direct messages

  • Manage Instagram conversations within Sonikit
