How to Create a Pre-Save Link in Sonikit
Pre-save links allow your fans to automatically add your upcoming release to their preferred streaming service the moment it goes live. In Sonikit, setting up a pre-save link is easy—and it's one of the best ways to build momentum before release day.
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process to create a pre-save link using Sonikit.
Step 1: Navigate to the Pre-Save Builder
Log in to your Sonikit dashboard.
Click on Projects and select the project associated with the release.
Go to the Pre-Saves tab.
Click Create New Pre-Save.
Step 2: Enter Release Details
Release Title: Add the name of your upcoming release.
Release Date: Choose the expected release date and time.
Cover Art (optional): Upload your artwork to customize the link preview.
Step 3: Choose Supported Platforms
Sonikit supports Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer for pre-saves.
Enable the platforms you want to support.
For each service, connect the artist profile if it’s not already linked.
Step 4: Customize the Fan Experience
You can tailor the fan experience to collect emails, phone numbers, or additional info:
Add optional input fields.
Enable/disable consent checkboxes for email/SMS marketing.
Customize thank-you messages or redirect to a custom URL after completion.
Step 5: Generate the Pre-Save Link
Once configured, click Generate Link.
Sonikit will create a unique short link (e.g.,
https://skt.to/abc123).You can preview what fans will see by clicking Preview.
Step 6: Share Your Link
Start building hype by sharing your pre-save link:
Post it on social media.
Include it in your email campaigns.
Link it from your bio or Link in Bio tools.
You can also track performance in your Sonikit dashboard under Pre-Save Analytics.
Tips
Test your link before launching your campaign.
