Understanding Projects in Sonikit: What They Are and When to Create a New One
A project is your workspace in Sonikit. Every landing page, embed, and action flow you create lives inside a project, and each project keeps its own audience, analytics, and messaging channel separate from any other project on your account.
What's scoped to a project?
Each project can have:
Its own landing pages, embeds, and action flows
Its own fan audience and segments
Its own analytics and dashboard
One phone number for SMS messaging
One connected Instagram account
One connection to each available integration (for example, one Shopify store or one Big Cartel store)
You can create as many landing pages, embeds, and action flows within a single project as you'd like — there's no need for a new project just to run a new release or campaign.
When should I create a new project?
Create a new project when you need to fully separate your fan data, phone number, Instagram account, or integrations from another project. Common reasons include:
Managing multiple artists. A label or management company might create one project per artist, so each artist's fans, analytics, and messaging stay siloed, and each can message fans from their own dedicated phone number rather than a shared catch-all.
Connecting multiple stores or accounts. If you want to connect more than one Shopify or Big Cartel store, or manage more than one Instagram account, each needs its own project.
If you're a single independent artist running multiple releases or campaigns, you generally don't need more than one project — create a new landing page or embed for each campaign within your existing project instead.
Projects and your plan
The number of projects available to you depends on your plan. If you're managing multiple artists or need more separation between campaigns than your current plan allows, upgrading your plan increases your project limit.
