I Lost Access to My 2FA Device — What Should I Do?

Option 1: Use a Recovery Code

If you saved your recovery codes:

  1. Choose Use a recovery code at sign-in

  2. Enter one unused code

  3. Regain access immediately


Option 2: Still Have Your Phone

If you changed phones but still have access:

  • Restore your authenticator app backup

  • Or receive an SMS code if SMS is enabled


Option 3: No Device and No Recovery Codes

If you no longer have:

  • Your phone

  • Your authenticator app

  • Your recovery codes
