Your messages shouldn’t look like every other artist’s text. With our new custom contact cards feature, you can embed a contact card in every SMS sent via Sonikit, complete with your artist name, photo and branding. When fans get a message from you, they can save you in their phone contacts with a single tap, making it easy for them to recognise and keep your number. This level of visual identity builds trust, promotes brand recall and ensures your messages get noticed, not ignored.

2. Add a Personal Touch with a Custom Voice Message on Incoming Calls

When a fan calls your Sonikit phone number, now they won’t just hear a generic message, they’ll hear your voice or music. Upload or record a custom audio message that plays whenever someone calls your number. Whether it’s a greeting, a call-to-action (“Hey! Check out the new single”), or a short snippet of a new song, it turns your fan interactions into a meaningful brand moment. This feature helps strengthen the human connection and makes your communications feel more immersive and pro.

3. Build Your List Better with Custom Opt-In Keywords

Grow your SMS list on your terms. Our new custom opt-in keywords let you choose the exact word or phrase that fans text to join your list. You can decide on something fun, memorable and campaign-focused (for example “MUSICVIP”, “JOINTHECREW”, or “BACKSTAGE”). Then whenever someone texts that keyword, they get automatically added to your fan messaging list. It’s more creative, more effective and gives you a stronger foundation for campaign segmentation and meaningful engagement.

Getting Started

1. Log in to your Sonikit dashboard and head to the Messaging section.

2. For contact cards: upload your image, add your artist name and brand details, and enable the card in your SMS settings.

3. For voice messages: navigate to the voice settings, upload or record your audio, and assign it to your Sonikit phone number.

4. For opt-in keywords: go to the opt-in settings, choose your keyword(s) and configure your welcome confirmation message.
